ebersb9 is pleased to announce it's upcoming group exhibition, “Group Painting Show” featuring five painters (Amy Mayfield,Howard Fonda,Tyson Reeder, Sebastian Vallejo, and Paul Wackers), loosely conveying a similar conversation in abstraction as well as the abstracted form.
This conversation initiates from varying thoughts and ambitions in abstract painting. Examples include the exuding implosive energy and the highly intuitive idiosyncratic manner in which Amy Mayfield’s paintings are made, while Sebastian Vallejo’s paintings describe the aesthetic relation between organic and inorganic forms and its visual and social implications. Tyson Reeder and Paul Wackers work enhances this dialog and Howard Fonda sees painting as a philosophical sanctuary and spiritual outpost as he embraces painting’s traditions and limitations, finding comfort in them. “Art is everything and nothing. Everything is everything and nothing. Nothing is everything and nothing,” quotes Fonda.
